About: CalBug is a collaborative initiative between nine California institutions with a goal to digitize over a million insect specimens. This web interface design (which is currently in progress) aims to be a fully accessible search interface to locate specimens housed in multiple museums. Project update: The current phase of this project is focusing on the aesthetic design of the CalBug website and the search function is being fine-tuned. Expected website launch: May 2015
